E-mail Forwarding in Web Hosting
If you have a web hosting package with us and you set up email addresses inside your account, you are able to forward it with just a few clicks to any other address of your choice. The feature can be enabled whenever you make a brand new mailbox or any time afterwards and deactivated just as easily if you change your mind. This can be done with the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel in which you will control your account. Additionally, you will have the option to choose whether a duplicate of the inbound e-mails will stay on our servers or not. The benefit of this option is that you will always have a copy on your end if something occurs with the other mailbox or if it isn't active for some reason at the time an email is forwarded. If the feature not enabled, an email will be received, forwarded and erased from our servers regardless of whether the remote email is working or not, so it can be quite a wise decision for it to be enabled just to be on the safe side.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you have a semi-dedicated server from our company, it will take just a few mouse clicks in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward the email addresses set up on our server to a third-party address. In the same section you will also be able to observe how many of your mailboxes are forwarded and exactly where the incoming e-mails are going. You can activate or disable a forwarding account whenever you want and during the process you may also choose if a backup of the e-mails has to be maintained on our servers or not. Even though this feature isn't a requirement, it is extremely valuable since you will get a backup of the messages on our end just in case that anything happens with the third-party mailbox. Even when they have a temporary issue, you run the risk of losing email messages as once our system gets and forwards a message, nothing will be stored on our end if you haven’t selected a copy to be maintained.
